Thank you for being transparent and for being strong enough to be weak! I pray that the Lord will bless you as you have so richly blessed others. That out of his great abundance of love, grace and mercy, he will grant you EVERY desire of your heart. I pray he will be close beside you in every step of the journey and that you will feel and sense His Abiding Presence with you in this season.

Psalm 56:8 says this: "You have seen me tossing and turning through the night. You have collected all my tears and preserved them in your bottle! You have recorded every one in your book." Our tears are precious to Him!

Prayers for the journey, JodyJody Thomaenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-255824855444877789.post-58049656066417565112015-03-11T12:50:55.277-04:002015-03-11T12:50:55.277-04:00I totally know what you mean about being called th...I totally know what you mean about being called the "perfect Christian girl." It made me sad because Lord knows I'm far from perfect. My friends often thought I had it all together. I can remember my sister one time telling time that I had the perfect life..... Obviously no one does. While I've struggled with many things in my life, this has been the most difficult struggle.... I think it's good for people to see that we can't all have it together all the time.Brandy Millerhttp://asweetaroma215.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-255824855444877789.post-4599188845830038372015-03-11T10:47:40.376-04:002015-03-11T10:47:40.376-04:00We see over and over in Scripture God's call t...We see over and over in Scripture God's call to weakness and to strength. He tells us that in our weakness His strength is made perfect.... I love that. Even though the transparency is sometimes hard and I have this great pull to be "sunshine and rainbows", I'm thankful that God uses my weakness for His glory.Brandy Millerhttp://asweetaroma215.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-255824855444877789.post-33805869852983945582015-03-11T10:45:40.326-04:002015-03-11T10:45:40.326-04:00Thank you Logan!Thank you Logan!Brandy Millerhttp://asweetaroma215.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-255824855444877789.post-71151888376195950432015-03-10T14:40:36.828-04:002015-03-10T14:40:36.828-04:00Amen! When we hold all our hurt in we're really just tearing ourselves up inside. God desires us to turn our burdens onto Him and to rely on His children for help getting us through.Susannahhttp://www.simplemomentsstick.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-255824855444877789.post-76771885377325848612015-03-10T12:11:42.325-04:002015-03-10T12:11:42.325-04:00This reminds me of a scripture in the Book of Morm...This reminds me of a scripture in the Book of Mormon that we are taught in high school seminary:
Ether 12:27-28
27 And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them.

28 Behold, I will show unto the Gentiles their weakness, and I will show unto them that faith, hope and charity bringeth unto me—the fountain of all righteousness.

You have been made strong in your weakness to help others who haven't been able to find that strength yet.Taylerhttp://www.themorrelltale.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-255824855444877789.post-50702938596030818392015-03-10T09:13:59.818-04:002015-03-10T09:13:59.818-04:00This is beautifully stated...
